This weekend members of Tengusanji and friends gathered to learn and construct Japanese garments. Many of our members are of different personas, but like to show their support and dress in our native clothing for the annual Bon Festival during Pennsic War. With the help of our resident Miko and costume designer, Yamamura Kitsune, the group got a good jump start on their garments. More Images

“Tengu Mountain Temple” is a camp and household within the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA). Compiled of members from the Middle Kingdom (Midrealm) and the East Kingdom. Many of our members portray Japanese personas, but not a requirement. Our friendships and love of Nihon is our bond.
